My name is Kellie Shue and I am a 35 year old mother of three. I have talked about getting fit for years but time and motivation stopped me. I met Rick and joined McMillan's Training Systems in January and became instantly addicted - it's so much fun and I have never felt better. I broke my back when I was younger, crushing three of my vertebrate, and have a curvature of my spine. I am already standing straighter withs Rick's help. After seeing my excitement my husband Brad joined shortly after me in the intent to loss a few pounds and get fit. Amazingly he has lost 18 pounds in just four weeks! He also has an old injury with his triceps muscles, causing muscle deterioration, and he has also noticed an increase in strength. What both Brad and I love the most is going to facility that will meet you at where you are physically and know how to push you to work hard to reach your potential, even if you have injuries from your past.

My time training in McMillan Training Systems has been such a rewarding experience. First of all, to be healthy, strong, and vibrant is one way of getting more out of life. To achieve that state of mind and body on your own is a difficult task. Yet within the McMillan Training System is a knowledgeable coach, Rick McMillan. He has guided and instructed myself, as well as others, toward our individual goals. Since training for approximately 7 years with Rick, I have been able to continually improve athletically and aesthetically in order to pursue my hobby in figure and fitness shows. The life benefit is feeling well and strong while learning discipline through his functional training which affects all areas of life. His workouts have helped me achieve more than I even expected. Actually, the journey itself has been as enjoyable as any success!

"McMillan Training Systems", where do I start...?

After many years of self-motivated training, yielding marginal results, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon McMillan Training Systems (MTS). I have tried every workout program, every diet plan yet faced much difficulty in attempts to reach any desired results. With nothing to lose, I approached Rick McMillan with intentions of finding a "higher ground" for my own body transformation. Initially, I was hoping to use MTS's sessions to supplement my own training regimen. However, after the first couple of workouts, I had decided to go at it full time. I knew (and felt) that there was something unique with Rick's approach to training and quickly came to realize how much he actually cared about my own personal goals.

From the workout routines to the necessary supplements, his plan for me was based on where I wanted to take my body. As I trained with Rick, I was surprised that I was getting the results I wanted in such a short period of time. His advice, encouraging words (sometimes), and overall general knowledge gave me the support I needed to make it through each workout, each week, each month. Within three (3) short months, Rick had me in the best shape of my life and ready to enter into a National competition (where I placed 4th overall) in November 2010. Talk about RESULTS!!!

It's difficult to put into words how grateful I am for what he has done for my life. Rick is more than just a "personal trainer"...he is such a great Coach who has strong faith and love for his clientele. At the end of the day, I can only sum it up one way, "If McMillan Training Systems wasn't helping me achieve my personal goals, I wouldn't continue to pay for their services!"
